This client wanted her home to hold a space for all of her family’s experiences and moods. Cozy and warm. Bright and airy. Most of all, this family wanted space for communal gatherings while not sacrificing areas intimate connections. To evoke their sense of adventure and humor, we mixed formal architectural details with fun, playful elements. An addition to the original footprint of the home allowed for an expansive eat-in kitchen and great room, as well as a formal dining room. Bold colors, statement lighting, and whimsical wallpaper abound.
